Consultant FAQs

Q: What is the Eight Eleven Group’s response to COVID-19?

A: We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impact on our employees, clients, consultants, and the global community. The health and well-being of our consultants and clients is our top priority.

We have asked our consultants to follow the health and security policies set forth by our clients. We encourage social distancing and vigilant hygiene efforts to limit the transmission of the virus.

Eight Eleven Group has enacted procedures to allow employees to work remotely wherever possible and stopped non-essential travel. We will continue working to serve our clients’ business critical needs, utilizing the video interviewing and electronic communication tools available to us.

Q: What should I do if my worksite closes?

A: Contact your Eight Eleven Group (Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire) representative right away and let them know. We will work with the leadership team at our client to determine the best course of action. If working remotely is possible, we highly encourage it. If remote work is not possible, your contract is subject to the discretion of our client.

Q: What if I’m laid off?  What resources do I have?

A: You may be eligible for unemployment benefits depending on state/local laws. Visit your state’s Unemployment Office website for more information.

If you are enrolled in the Eight Eleven Group’s health insurance plan and your employment ends, your coverage would end on the last day of the month following your termination date.  You have the option of continuing your existing health benefits via COBRA, or could shop for plans on the Heath Insurance Marketplace that are best suited for your individual needs at healthcare.gov.

Q: What should I do if I have been potentially exposed to COVID-19?

A: If there has been possible exposure to COVID-19, please separate yourself from all other people, cover your face, clean/disinfect “high-touch” surfaces, and call a healthcare professional for medical advice.

Look to your state’s sick leave programs to determine if you’re eligible for paid sick leave.

Please keep us informed! We care about your health and want to offer support during these challenging and uncertain times. Call your Eight Eleven Group (Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire) representative.

Q: What should I do if I have a question?

A: The best source of up-to-date information is on the CDC website.

Feel free to send any questions you have regarding COVID-19 to questions@eightelevengroup.com. We are doing our best to stay informed about best practices from both the CDC and the government. We will implement any policies suggested to protect our employees.

Client FAQs

A: We are communicating almost daily with our consultant community nationwide.

Q: Are you able to Recruit and Deliver candidates during this time?

A: Since Monday, March 16th, 2020, when we instructed our internal workforce to work from home, we have not seen a drop in our production or ability to recruit on the changing needs of our client base. We conduct virtual meetings every day, based around both our client and consultant needs.

Q: Are you able to provide 24/7 support during this time?

A: While working remotely during this trying time, our team is committed to being there for you and our consultants during this time of crisis. All of our Account Executives and Recruiters are preforming at an amazing pace, whether that's filling your request for personnel, or simply answering questions to the best of our ability regarding COVID-19.

Q: Are you able to continue to pay your consultants weekly?

A: We have had our dedicated accounting and payroll team working diligently to make sure that we have/had payroll out to our consultants weekly. Every live paycheck (only for those consultants who have just started) were mailed out immediately. We will continue to hit these commitments and expectations weekly.

Q: If we need your consultants to work from home is that approved?

A: We are encouraging our consultants to follow our client’s direction. If our client encourages remote work, our consultants should follow their lead.
